So here are a couple of photos of Phil launching the book!!!
And a letter with a reply in if from Prince Harry! I sent a copy of the book to Prince Harry and asked if he might be able to send some words or a recorded message for the launch. Only received a reply on Wed 25th. Too late for the launch. And unfortunately he was unable to do either but he did wish us luck with the book!

On Sat Feb 21 One Step at a Time was launched in style by Phil Cummings at the Burnside Community Hall at Burnside. Over 250 people attended and 165 books were sold! It was an amazing turn up of people including lots of kids who had fun making all sorts of different crafty elephants. A delicious assortment of elephant biscuits were on offer for all to enjoy. SafeGround set up a display and Sally’s original prints were on display around the walls.

The Gunn/Bray Year 5 class at Eastern Fleurieu School has raised $250 to go towards SafeGround, to continue their work at making unsafe ground safe.
The class made and sold pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and made $500 profit, which they split evenly between HOPE and SafeGround.
The class are studying “One Step at a Time” at the moment and it was after reading the book that they made the decision to donate their funds to this cause.
Thanks and congratulations to the Gunn/Bray class at Eastern Fleurieu School
