You’ve got mail!

We love getting mail! It’s always exciting to go to the letter box and discover that there’s a real live letter inside, instead of just junk mail and bills. It’s even more exciting when it’s letters and drawings from children who have been reading ‘One Step at a Time’! It is such a buzz to hear how people are responding to the book. Here’s just a few of the drawings Sally received yesterday from Year 2 students at Westminster. Thank you everyone!

Rats and Landmines

We have recently seen a fascinating video showing trained rats, in Africa, sniffing out landmines…all for a piece of banana.

To watch it go to:  http://www.nytimes.com/ and then scroll down almost to the bottom on the RHS and watch the video The Mine Sniffing Rats of Africa. I’m sure you’ll be interested.
